At Greenwheels we charge a one-time deposit of € 100* when you sign up. The deposit ensures that the things we share are handled properly.
 
Deposit, also known as collateral, is money that you pay and then get back, provided nothing has happened to - in this case - the Greenwheels car.
 
You can pay the deposit at Greenwheels in two ways:
  • via iDeal payment
  • with credit card
You will receive this back no later than 8 weeks after termination of the contract with Greenwheels.
 
*For Business we charge a deposit of € 250.

What is the deposit with Greenwheels?
When you sign up with Greenwheels, we'll ask you to pay a deposit of € 100 (for Business, the deposit is € 250). If you delete your account, you'll get this back, as long as you've kept up all your payments.You can read more about the deposit here.
When will I receive my deposit back?
When you delete your Greenwheels account, you will receive the deposit back 8 weeks after the end date of your choose Rate. The condition is that you have made all your payments, if not, we will transfer the outstanding amounts to the deposit.We adhere to a period of 8 weeks because traffic fines, previous damages can still be received within this period.You can read more about the deposit here.
