Do you drive occassionally and only need the car for a few miles each time? Then our free Occasional rate is the best pick for you. Do you need the car on a regular basis and/or for longer periods? Opt for the Regular or Frequent rate, so you drive for a lower hourly and kilometre price and get up to 75% discount on longer bookings.

For example, an afternoon on the road in your area for which you book a Greenwheels car for 5 hours and drive 40 km.

Are you planning to drive more in the upcoming month, but know you'll be needing the car less in a few weeks from now? You can change your rate monthly - without any additional costs - in your account. This will take effect on the first day of the forthcoming month. No strings attached.

Changing plans?
Cancel your trip for free in the Greenwheels app. Or shorten your trip if you're back earlier than planned. You have more flexibility with the Regular and Frequent rates.
Questions about our rates?
Register
When signing up, you pay a one-off deposit of € 100 or you choose a reservation of that amount on your credit card. You will receive the deposit back in full after your subscription, provided that you pay all your bills. A reservation on your credit card will expire automatically.
Monthly costs
Depending on your subscription, you may or may not pay a monthly subscription fee. The higher these costs, the lower the usage rates.
Usage costs
The total fare is calculated based on the time you book a Greenwheels car and the number of kilometres driven. Also, optional costs may occur for the deductible or when you let us make a booking by phone or email.
You'll receive an invoice twice a month if any costs occur. If you choose a rate with a monthly fee, this fee will be charged on every first invoice of the month.
When you sign up, you can choose to pay via iDEAL (direct debit) or credit card. We accept credit cards from Mastercard or Visa. We do not accept debit cards or prepaid credit cards.
With Greenwheels, you book, drive and pay only for the time you booked the car (per 15 minutes) and the driven kilometres.
Of course, plans can change. That's why you can also cancel your Greenwheels trip. You can do this up to 24 hours before the start of your booking with the Occasional rate and up to the start of your booking with the Regular and Frequent rates.
Need the car a little longer? No worries, you can always extend your booking if the car is available. With the Regular and Frequent rate, you can also shorten your ongoing trip up to 2 hours. That's ideal if you return earlier!
After completing your signup, you can directly book a car and hit the road. Sometimes we need to do an extra check. Then it can take a little longer before you can hit the road with a Greenwheels car.
No, you don't. Every car is insured, including a liability and personal accident insurance. That means that harm to both passengers and third parties is covered. The possessions that you bring into the car are not covered by this car insurance. We cannot be held responsible for theft or damage to your possessions.
For damage to Greenwheels cars there's a standard deductible, that you can reduce per trip. You can do that in your account when you book a car.

Terms and Conditions
The welcome gift is exclusively for new Greenwheels drivers. The promotion is valid as long as it is displayed on greenwheels.nl/en-us/rates. You will receive the welcome gift if your signup with the Frequent rate started on or after 15-04-2024 and is completed within 7 days after starting your signup. Your signup is complete once you've added a payment method and driving licence to your account. Once your signup is completed, you'll receive your welcome gift by email. The € 25 driving credit has a limited validity period. You will receive a maximum of one welcome gift per signup.
